Title:
LIQUID JET RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0336034
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable uniform stabilized recording to be performed in a short time by a method wherein ink is fixed by both of a heating means and an ultrasonic vibration means.

CONSTITUTION: Separation of water content in recording liquid on a recording medium is quickly accelerated by an ultrasonic vibration means, and the separated water content can be evaporated by a heating means. An ultrasonic vibration element 21 is provided at a position opposed to a recording head 1 under a hot plate together with a face heater 6 on a rear surface side of the plate 5. One line of sheet feed and recording are alternately performed. Stuck ink keeps swollen as it is. Since the hot plate 5 is heated by the face heater 6 and is high frequency finely vibrated by the ultrasonic vibration element 21, the vibration is transmitted to the ink on a recording sheet 7, and its surface tension is ruptured in a moment. Further, the water content in the ink can be decomposed to a molecular state to be scattered and the concentrated ink is absorbed into the recording sheet.
