Title:
LIQUID JET RECORDING HEAD AND LIQUID JET RECORDING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001105602
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the lowering of a printing grade caused by air bubbles accumulated in the vicinity of the jet orifices of a recording head.

Ink supply ports 101A, 101B different in cross-sectional area are provided with respect to the row of the jet orifices 24a of a liquid jet recording head as air bubble stagnation means so that air bubbles are stagnated in a common liquid chamber 103 with which the jet orifices communicate at a predetermined position 103A. By providing a printing mode performing recording without using the jet orifices in the vicinity of the position where air bubbles are stagnated, highly detailed recording can be performed only by the jet orifices of a region not always receiving the effect of air bubbles.
