The printer is equipped with a control unit which corrects the color ID read from the nonvolatile storage element on the basis of an amount of change of a test pattern 53 formed by the ink hit on the resin film by generating the drive pulse from the drive signal generating circuit, and a control unit which adjusts the drive pulse in the case of ejection operation on the basis of the color ID corrected by the control part.
