To suppress the wasteful consumption of a liquid, and the dislocation of droplets from a target impact position, and to efficiently obtain an image of a good accuracy in a liquid jetting device.
This liquid jetting device comprises a moving section 4, a movement controlling section 5, a pulse generating section 6, a pulse changing circuit 7, and a head controlling section 8. In this case, the moving section 4 performs a moving motion which makes a recording medium 2 and a recording head 3 relatively move. The movement controlling section 5 makes the moving section 4 execute the moving motion based on recording data regarding an image which is recorded on the recording medium 2. The pulse generating section 6 generates a pulse signal in response to the relative movement of the recording medium 2 and the recording head 3 by the moving section 4. The pulse changing circuit 7 changes the pulse signal which is generated by the pulse generating section 6 in such a manner that the impact position of droplets to the recording medium 2 may meet the target impact position. The head controlling section 8 makes the recording head 3 execute the discharging motion while synchronizing with the pulse signal changed by the pulse changing circuit 7 based on the recording data.
