Title:
LIQUID JETTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011121353
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reliably prevent foreign matters such as paper powder and dust from adhering to an ink-jet recording head without lowering recording quality.

A conveyance driven roller 15 provided in the upstream side of the ink-jet recording head 16 is provided with a cover 24 covering the outer peripheral surface thereof. The cover 24 is provided with a flange part 24a, and the flange part 24a is provided with a conductivity shielding member 22. The conductivity shield 22 covers the end region of paper to which paper powder, etc. adheres the most. Thus, paper powder, etc. can be physically prevented from being scattered to the side of a nozzle plate 16a. The conductivity shielding member 22 has conductivity and is not in contact with recording paper P. Therefore, the shielding member does not physically scrape off and scatter the paper powder, etc. adhering to the paper end. Friction electrification of paper powder, etc. caused by friction between the recording paper P and the conductivity shielding member 22 can be prevented. Therefore, the paper powder, etc. can be prevented from being scattered by electrostatic force.
