Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a flexible wire capable of detecting leakage of liquid.
CONSTITUTION: An electrode wire 3 consists of a pair of insulated flexible conductors coated with an insulator 2 having water resistance and dissoluble in a liquid to be detected. The outer periphery of the core 7 containing the conductors are covered with a liquid-absorbing layer 6 of braided material, and impedance elements R are connected in series to one conductor at predetermined intervals to constitute a leakage-detection wire.
