PURPOSE: To surely stop supply of a refrigerant liquid at the time when a liquid level becomes a proper position, and also, to eliminate a difference of character-istics between airconditioning units, and to simplify a liquid level control mechanism by driving a valve body against a prescribed liquid level of this refrigerant liquid by a valve rod, and closing or opening a flow passage.
CONSTITUTION: When a liquid level of a refrigerant liquid in a tank 51 ascends, a float member 52 ascends in connection therewith, and a valve rod 53 pushes up a valve body 54 and couples it to a valve seat 56. A valve mechanism 57 in a pipe 55 is closed, and inflow of the refrigerant liquid into the tank 51 is stopped. In such a state, when the liquid level of the refrigerant liquid in the tank 51 descends, the float member 52 ascends in connection therewith, and simultaneously, the valve rod 53 also descends and the valve body 54 is separated from the valve seat, and the valve mechanism 57 is opened. The refrigerant liquid flows into the tank 51 again, and the liquid level of the refrigerant liquid ascends. In such a way, opening and closing of the valve mechanism 57 are repeated, and liquid level height of a heat exchanger 22 can be maintained in a proper liquid level automatically without control from the outside. By buoyancy of the float member 52, force for working on the valve body 54 can be enlarged.
