Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the indicated value of liquid level from varying even when a vehicle stops on a slope for a long time.
SOLUTION: The liquid level indicator comprises a fuel sender gauge 1 for detecting the level of fuel liquid in a vehicle mounted fuel tank, and a vehicle speed sensor 6. A CPU 2 stores the liquid level detected upon stoppage of vehicle. When the vehicle is traveling, the indicated liquid level is increased or decreased by a predetermined amount depending on the sign of difference between a detected liquid level and an indicated liquid level at that time and presented on a display 3. When the vehicle is stopped, the indicated liquid level is increased or decreased by the increasing/decreasing amount of detected liquid level from the stored liquid level and presented on the display 3.
