PURPOSE: To provide a level measuring device which can accurately measure the liquid level in a tank capable of storing liquid with agitation.

CONSTITUTION: A liquid level measuring device 1 includes a tank 2 to store a liquid and a measuring pipe 16 which is supported outside the tank 2 in such a way as slidable in the vertical direction, wherein the pipe 16 is connected with the tank top and bottom through flexible pipings 12, 13 so that the liquid in the tank 2 is allowed to flow into the pipe 16. As the liquid in the quantity corresponding to the liquid level in the tank 2 flows in, the weight of the pipe 16 is measured by a load cell 20 and electrically converted into the tank level, and one can know the liquid level in the tank 2.
