Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable liquid level sensor capable of detecting a liquid level contactlessly and not producing any error even if it is used for long period.
The movement of a float is converted from a first magnet on a container side to the rotation of a second magnet 13 on a detection side so as to detect an amount of rotation of the second magnet 13. In this case, a detection plate 11 is installed on the second magnet 13, a magnetic-to-electric power converting element 16 is arranged at a position opposed to the detection plate 11, and a variation in flux density due to rotation of the detection plate 11 is detected by the magnetic-to-electric power converting element 16.
