Abstract:
To provide a liquid metal convection device, a seawater desalination system and a seawater desalination method for separating and recovering valuable resources from seawater.SOLUTION: A liquid metal convection device 1 configures a liquid metal convection loop, and accommodates liquid tin as a coolant to generate convective circulation as shown by arrows. The liquid metal convection device 1 comprises: high-temperature piping 11; low-temperature piping 12; a seawater contact chamber 13; an alkali metal separation recovery unit 14 provided at a first place of the low-temperature piping 12; a heavy metal separation recovery unit 15 provided at a second place of the low-temperature piping 12; and a gas component high-temperature desorption unit 16 provided at a third place of the high-temperature piping 11. At both ends of the seawater contact chamber 13, the high-temperature piping 11 and the low-temperature piping 12 are connected in a loop shape. At least on one side of a lower part, the high-temperature piping 11 directly receives sunlight to collect the sunlight and be heated by a parabolic dish type collector 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
