To obtain a new abrasion-resistant fuel composition having a good corrosion-inhibiting property without deteriorating the lubricity of the fuel, even when a fuel low in the contents of sulfur and/or aromatic compounds is used by compounding a specific liquid antioxidizing agent to the fuel.
This abrasion-resistant fuel composition comprises (A) a fuel and (B) the reaction product of (i) a compound of the formula: X(Y)a [Y is OH, HNR1 (R1 is H, a 1-18C alkyl, etc.), etc.; (a) is 1-6; X is a 1-45C alkyl, a 3-18C alkenyl, etc., when Y and (a) are OH and 1, respectively, or X is a 1-18C alkyl, phenyl, etc., when Y and (a) are HNR1 and 1, respectively], (ii) a compound of formula I {Z is H, a group of formula II [(h) is 2, 3; (i) is 0-12; R11 is a 2-30C alkyl, a 8-30C alkenyl, etc.]; (k) is 0-6; wherein the compound of formula I has the group of formula II}, and (iii) a compound of formula III {R12 is a 5-12C cycloalkyl, phenyl, etc.; R15 is H, phenyl, etc.; (s) is 0-2; Q is CmH2m, a group of formula IV [(m) is 0-3; R16 is a 1-8C alkyl), etc.; (n) is 1-6; R17 is H, the monovalent group of hexose, etc.}.
