PURPOSE: To prevent rickety motion of a swash plate and reduce slide resistance at the time of inclined rotation by making the swash plate contact with an inclined rotation control plate which controls inclined rotation angle on line in a liquid pressure rotator of variable capacity and swash plate type.

CONSTITUTION: A first contact face and a second contact face are formed above and below a first support point forming line which becomes a cross line, respectively, on the back of a swash plate 29, and a female position shift control section is formed on the right and left sides. On the other hand, a first support face and a second support face are formed above and below a second support point forming line, respectively, on the surface of an inclined rotation control plate 34, and a male position shift control section is formed on the right and left sides. Support point forming lines constitute a support point 30, and the swash plate 29 contacts with the inclined rotation control plate 34 on line via this support point 30.
