To provide a liquid removing apparatus capable of sufficiently squeezing a sterilizer stuck on the surface of a packaging material.
In the liquid removing apparatus, the first and second squeezing rollers 24 and 25 pinching the packaging material 12 which has reached a squeezing part 20 remove a liquid stuck on the surface of the packaging material 12. An intimately contacting means 30 is provided in such a way that a recessed part 25a is formed over the circumferential direction of the second squeezing roller 25, and the surface of the second squeezing roller 25 is covered with a sheet 26 over the circumferential direction, and when a mouth 23 formed at a specified position of the packaging material 12 does not pass through the recessed part 25a, air is fed into a gap 25c formed between the recessed part 25a and the sheet 26 to sufficiently expand the gap, and the sheet 26 is thereby brought into intimate contact with the packaging material 12 so that a step difference is not generated between the recessed part 25a and a main roller part 25b, and when the mouth 23 passes through the recessed part 25a, the sheet 26 is depressed to bring it into intimate contact with the mouth 23.
