PURPOSE: To provide a liquid removing device in which the scattering and contact flaws of liquid droplets on plate passing at high speed are not caused and liquid associated with a belt body at a short distance just after a dip process is completely removed or is controlled to a prescribed film thickness.
CONSTITUTION: A steel belt 1 drawn out after immersed in a liquid bath 2 is arranged at a prescribed position 8 from the surface of the bath, held between liquid removing dies 3-1, 3-2 consisting of at least a pair of members extending in the width direction of the belt body. The dies leave a prescribed clearance 6 with the belt body in front of the proceeding direction of the belt body, and the clearance gradually expands backwards, and also in the die members, jet holes 4-1, 4-2 for jetting fluid uniform in the width direction toward the belt body are made. Thus, the associated liquid is completely removed.
