To provide a liquid reserving microstructured device allowing extraction of a small amount of liquid by enabling spaces to be arranged and structured as freely as possible without requiring use of any special container for direct preservation of the quantity of liquid in a carrier or a device.
The liquid storing microstructured device enabling extraction of a small amount of liquid comprises a carrier 1. The device has a first cavity 4 equipped with at least one first demarcated area for preserving a small amount of liquid. The first demarcated area of the first cavity 4 is formed within the carrier 1, and the first demarcated area is closed by a covering element 2 and a blocking element 3. The device is provided with a means to transmit force from the covering element 2 to the blocking element 3, and the force destroys the bond between the blocking element and the carrier or the blocking element in such a way that the liquid can be extracted from the first section of the first cavity 4.
