PURPOSE: To obtain a solventless liq. resin compsn. which forms a rigid coating film without diffusing a solvent by a conventional drying method by mixing a specific liq. acrylic resin with a liq. polyester resin.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by mixing 100 pts.wt. liq. acrylic resin having a number average mol.wt. of 10,000-200,000 and obtd. by copolymerizing 80-100wt.% polymerizable vinyl monomer (A) represented by the formula (wherein R1 is H or CH3; R2 is H or 1-4C alkyl; n is 1-3; and m is 4-25) and 0-20wt.% other polymerizabld vinyl monomer (D) with 40-400 pts.wt. liq. polyester resin having a number average mol.wt. of 300-3,000 and polymerizable vinyl groups at the side chains or by mixing 100 pts.wt. liq. acrylic resin obtd. by copolymerizing monomer A, a polymerizable epoxidized vinyl monomer (B) and/or a polymerizable carboxylated vinyl monomer (C), and monomer D, with 40-400 pts.wt. above-mentioned liq. polyester resin.
