To provide a liquid-sealing vacuum pump capable of increasing a suction amount without enlarging the size of a device and increasing a cost.
This liquid-sealed vacuum pump comprises a casing 1, an impeller 4 eccentrically attached in the casing 1, and an intake port 8 and a discharge port 9 on the side of the impeller 4. In the liquid-sealed vacuum pump, a sealing liquid discharging outlet 11 for discharging surplus sealing liquid is provided at a phase position generally corresponding to a phase position of the discharge port 9 in an outer peripheral portion of the casing 1 other than the discharge port 9 that is a main outlet for the surplus sealing liquid. Therefore, the surplus sealing liquid circulating in the pump is efficiently discharged, thereby preventing increase of power at discharging the surplus sealing liquid and improving the operation efficiency of the liquid-sealed vacuum pump.
