Abstract:
PURPOSE:To absorb vibration through movement of a partition during high frequency low amplitude and to give a damping action through the working of a throttle hole during low frequency high amplitude, by a method wherein a partition having the throttle hole, which forms two fluids chambers partitioned thereby, is located movably by a given distance. CONSTITUTION:A partition 8, which is vertically movable and has a throttle hole 83 at the center, is located in a cylinder body 2, and a first fluid chamber A is formed by a partition part 82 of the partition 8. Further, a second fluid chamber B, communicated to the first fluid chamber A through the throttle hole 83 in the partition 8, is formed. Movement of the partition 8 is limited to a given area by a partition movement regulating member 6 having plural through- holes. When vibration with high frequency low amplitude is exerted, movement of the partition 8 absorbs a change in a liquid pressure and prevents a damping force from being exerted. Meanwhile, in the case of low frequency high amplitude, movement of the partition 8 is regulated by a regulating member 6, whereby fluid flows through the throttle hole 83 and the damping force is exerted.
