Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid sensor that can enhance holding power to a tube.SOLUTION: A liquid sensor has a cover member 20 having a pair of elastic pieces 51A, 51B for pinching a tube T, a light projecting element for projecting detection light to a space between the pair of elastic pieces 51A, 51B along an irradiation direction corresponding to an intersection direction to the longitudinal direction of the tube T, and a light receiving element for receiving the detection light passing through the space between the pair of elastic pieces 51A, 51B. In each of the pair of elastic pieces 51A, 51B is formed a slit 52 extending in an extension direction which is an intersection direction to the longitudinal direction of the tube T and also a direction different from the irradiation direction. The slit 52 formed in each of the pair of elastic pieces 51A, 51B is located on the optical axis of the detection light between the light projecting element and the light receiving element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
