Title:
LIQUID SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3705575
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid sensor, capable of preventing an wrong detection, due to bubbles or a water droplets.
SOLUTION: In this liquid sensor, lights of an overall emitting range S2 are all converged last on a photodetector 13A. Even if a water droplet 53 partly adheres to the range S2 on a liquid detecting surface 51, a light emitted to a part except the adhered part of the droplet 53 of the range S2 is condensed to the photodetector 13A. Thus, the influence of the droplet 53 on the photodetected amount of the photodetector 13A is suppressed, and wrong detections can be prevented. Procedures are similar for buffles.
