Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of liquid leakage from a liquid introducing part from a main tank upon detaching the main tank.SOLUTION: A sub tank 25 is arranged in an ink supply flow passage 23. The sub tank 25 includes an ink supply port part 51 connected to an ink cartridge 21, an ink discharge port part 52 connected to a head tank 22, and a flexible member 53 which is at least a part of a wall surface. At least either of the ink supply port part 51 and the ink discharge port part 52 can be displaced together with the flexible member 53. When a liquid is supplied by liquid feed means, a pressurized liquid flows in the sub tank 25, and a liquid-feed pressure is applied on the sub tank 25 and the flexible member 53 displaces in a direction of expanding a volume of the sub tank 25. When the pressurized fluid does not flow into the sub tank 25 and the liquid feed pressure is not applied on the sub tank 25, the ink supply port part 23 and the ink discharge port part 24 are separably connected.
