To provide a liquid transferring method for liquid to be transferred, capable of preventing a trouble such a liquid transferring failure by suppressing the wear of a stator when using a single-shaft eccentric screw pump having a stator of an elastic material for transferring liquid, even if passing therein the liquid to be transferred which contains particles having higher hardness than the elastic material.

The liquid transferring method uses the single-shaft eccentric screw pump having the stator of the elastic material. Herein, when the liquid to be transferred contains particles having relatively higher hardness than the elastic material, powder and grain material having relatively lower hardness than the elastic material is added and mixed into the liquid to be transferred while being satisfied with a predetermined quantitative relationship between the particles and itself to prepare mixed suspension which is passed into the pump. The quantitative relationship is based on all solid component in the liquid to be transferred or the mixed suspension and given by a primary inequality. The grain size of the powder and grain material is 10-500 μm, and the 1-30 wt.% powder and grain material is added to all solid component in slurry.
