To provide a liquid treating device capable of preventing risk of making sludge in a dirty liquid from directly flowing in a clean liquid tank from a dirty liquid tank even when stopping a pump.
The dirty liquid pumped up by a pumping-up pump 18 from a bottom part of the dirty liquid tank 13 for precipitating the sludge in the liquid by receiving the dirty liquid, is separated into a solid and liquid by a solid-liquid separator 20. A clean liquid is supplied to a necessary place by a supply pump 37 from the clean liquid tank 32 for receiving the clean liquid sent out of the solid-liquid separator 20. A movable partition body 41 arranged between the dirty liquid tank 13 and the clean liquid tank 32, has the function of opening when a liquid level of the dirty liquid tank 13 is lower than a liquid level of the clean liquid tank 32, closing when the liquid level of the dirty liquid tank 13 is higher than the liquid level of the clean liquid tank 32, and overflowing a supernatant liquid of the dirty liquid to the clean liquid tank 32 from the dirty liquid tank 13 when the liquid level of the dirty liquid tank 13 exceeds an upper limit.
