PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal the both ends of a filter medium with end plates by integrally forming a resin end plate in which a resin layer of specified thickness is present on the end face of the chrysanthemum-shaped filter medium on the both ends of the filter medium as a filter element for treating a fluid capable of making it incinerated.
SOLUTION: Plural projecting pieces 11c thinner than a tube body and having a window hole 11d inside are extended to the outside at the both upper and lower ends of an inner tube 11 forming a frame cylinder with the plural annular parts 11a and vertical columns 11b made of a synthetic resin, a filter medium 12 formed by folding filter paper or nonwoven fabric is wound around the inner tube 11 in a chrysanthemum-shaped cylinder and the both ends are held between the upper and lower projecting pieces 11c. A resin layer formed in a chrysanthemum shape and having a thickness at least corresponding to that of the projecting piece 11c on the end face is made to exist on the both ends of the medium 12 to integrally form an end plate 13 made of the same resin as the inner tube 11 and the both ends of the filter medium 12 are surely sealed by these end plate 13.
