Abstract:
To provide a liquid treatment system capable of maintaining treatment quality of water discharged high even if concentration of an organic matter in water to be treated is increased.SOLUTION: There are provided liquid treatment systems A and B which comprise a negative electrode 20 which holds an anaerobic microorganism and is in contact with water 3 to be treated containing an organic matter and a positive electrode 10 electrically connected to the negative electrode and have a microbial fuel cell tank 1 provided with an inflow port 4 through which water to be treated flows in and an outflow port 5 through which water to be treated flows out. The liquid treatment systems further comprise a flow rate adjustment part 110 which is provided at the inflow port of the microbial fuel cell tank and adjusts the flow rate of the water to be treated and a control part 120 for controlling the flow rate adjustment part. The control part adjusts the flow rate of the water to be treated by the flow rate adjustment part according to any one of a current value and a voltage value between the positive and negative electrodes, a potential value of the positive electrode and a potential value of the negative electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
