Title:
LIQUID WASHING METHOD FOR ELECTROLYTE BY CHELATE RESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3777854
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove impurities with smaller-scale equipment by successively putting a prescribed number of columns with which adsorption ends among a plurality of columns into a washing process and passing a washing liquid in series through the columns existing in the washing process.
SOLUTION: For example, 10 pieces of the columns are arranged in parallel and the respectively divided electrolytes are passed respectively through these columns, by which the impurities are adsorbed in chelate resins. Next, the prescribed number of the columns to be subjected to washing of the resins are specified to three pieces and the washing liquid is fed to the first column in the first batch and is drained from the third column. When the passage of the liquid of 1/3 the volume necessary for the washing ends in one column, the columns are respectively moved to a downstream side and the washing liquid is fed to the second column and is drawn from the fourth column in the second batch. The first column goes out of the process. The columns are thus successively moved to the downstream side of the process and the columns to be passed with the liquid over a plurality of batches are changed over. In such a case, the total volume of the volume necessary for the washing is eventually admitted into the third column in the third batch.
