To provide a listener guide device capable of guiding a user to a desired place without making the user astray when the user is going to move to the desired place inside facilities such as a library or the like.
Ultrasonic speaker systems 100 are arranged in a plurality of places within the facilities. The user is guided, by voice signals emitted from the ultrasonic speaker systems 100, to the place where an object targeted by the user (the listener) is located. In this case, based on "listener position information" and "targeted object identification information", appropriate ultrasonic speaker systems 100 are selected depending on a position of the listener at different times to guide the listener by the ultrasonic speaker systems 100 selected. Further, voice signals depending on "the listener position information" (e.g., voice signals for showing that the user may move back and forth and around) are selected to guide the listener by the voice signals.
