Abstract:
To provide a hearing system and a robot used for the hearing system that make it possible to sanitarily receive advantages of cartilage conduction even though a cartilage conduction part that may have been touched by indefinite persons is shared.SOLUTION: A cartilage conduction hearing system includes: a cartilage conduction part for transmitting vibration to an ear cartilage of a person 201; and a support part for movably supporting the cartilage conduction part. When brought to the ear cartilage by the person, the support part supports the cartilage conduction part so as not to resist it. The cartilage conduction hearing system also includes: the cartilage conduction parts provided at fingers 213, 221 of a robot 206 for transmitting vibration to the person's ear cartilage; and following means 207 for making the robot's fingers follow movement of the person's head when the cartilage conduction parts transmit vibration to a single ear 232 of the person, the following means provided at the robot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
