Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure physical and electrical connection between an electrode and a current collecting member while avoiding deterioration of the electrical performance and heat resistance performance of a lithium battery.SOLUTION: A lithium battery includes a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material, a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and including a solid electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity, a positive electrode side current collecting member disposed on the side opposite to the solid electrolyte layer with respect to the positive electrode, and a negative electrode side current collecting member disposed on the side opposite to the solid electrolyte layer with respect to the negative electrode. At least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode includes a specific material that is at least one of a lithium halide hydrate and a lithium halide hydroxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
