Abstract:

To provide a new boron phosphate lithium compound which is a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery capable of reducing battery resistance under a high temperature environment and reducing battery swell caused by gas generation (called "gas swell" as well), and an additive for a lithium secondary battery containing the boron phosphate lithium compound.SOLUTION: A boron phosphate lithium compound has a repeated structure represented by following formula (I), where n indicates an integer of 1 or more.
