PURPOSE: To provide the subject lithium complex grease composition having a high dropping point and excellent in acoustic properties and to provide a method for production thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A lithium complex grease composition characterized by the content composed of (a) a lubricant, (b) lithium salt of a 12-24C fatty monocarboxylic acid containing one or more hydroxyl groups, (c) dilithium salt of a 2-12C fatty dicarboxylic acid and (d) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether represented by a general formula R-O-(CH2CH2O)nH (R is 8-30C aliphatic hydrocarbon group and n is integer of 2-20), its ratio in which the ratio of the total weight of the components (b) and (c) to the weight of the whole composition, the weight ratio of the component (b) to the component (c) and the weight ratio of the component (d) to the whole composition are respectively 3-30wt.%, (1:2)-(6:1) and 0.2-4.0wt.% and ≥250°C dropping point.
