Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion-conductive ceramic material the cost of which is suppressed and furthermore which has desired ionic conductivity, and to provide a high-performance lithium battery the cost of which is suppressed by employing such a lithium ion-conductive material.SOLUTION: The lithium ion-conductive ceramic material is provided which includes Li, La, Zr, and at least either Mg or A (A represents at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, and Ba), with each of the elements included satisfying the following (1) to (3) in terms of molar ratios, and which has a garnet type crystal structure.
