To simply and conveniently provide a lithium ion power storage element which can suppress the decrease in battery capacity further than that achieved by a conventional one.SOLUTION: A lithium ion power storage element comprises an electrolyte solution, a separator, a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a sealing body for sealing them. On the surface of one or each of the positive and negative electrodes, which is in touch with the electrolyte solution, zeolite nanoparticles of 10-900 nm in average particle diameter are arranged with the outer surface thereof put in contact therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: None
