Abstract:
Provided are a positive electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery having improved discharge capacity and load properties, and a lithium ion secondary battery comprising the same. The positive electrode comprises: a positive electrode particle including a positive electrode active material particle, a first coating layer coating a surface of the positive electrode active material particle and containing a carbon material, and a second coating layer coating the first coating layer and containing a lithium-contained compound; and a sulfide-based solid electrolyte contacted with the positive electrode particle. In addition, the positive electrode can improve the discharge capacity and the load properties of the lithium ion secondary battery.
