Abstract:
To provide a lithium ion secondary battery superior in rate characteristic and cycle durability.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator disposed between the positive and negative electrodes; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution. The nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains a nonaqueous solvent, an electrolyte and an additive agent. The additive agent contains a lithium ion, a hexafluorophosphate ion, a difluorophosphate ion and an ethylene carbonate molecule, and it contains a complex compound which develops an exothermic peak A showing a maximum value of a heat flow rate per unit mass within a temperature range of 190-210°C, and an exothermic peak B showing a maximum value of a heat flow rate per unit mass within a temperature range of 280-300°C, in differential scanning calorimetry.SELECTED DRAWING: None
