Abstract:
To provide a recovery method of lithium capable of recovering lithium by eluting the same at high elution rate while suppressing chemical cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a recovery method of lithium for recovering lithium from a manufacturing process waste water of a positive electrode material for lithium secondary battery, having an adsorption process S2 for adsorbing a lithium ion to a strong acidic cation exchange resin by supplying a solution containing a lithium ion to the strong acidic cation exchange resin containing a sodium sulfonate group as a functional group and contacting them, and an elution process S3 for eluting the lithium ion adsorbed to the strong acidic cation exchange resin by supplying the strong acidic cation exchange resin to an adsorption liquid containing sodium salt and contacting them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
