Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simply and at a low cost a lithium secondary battery electrode and a lithium secondary battery that satisfy short-time output characteristics at the cold temperature.
SOLUTION: This is an electrode having a mix that contains a capacitor material made of an activated charcoal of which the average particle size is controlled less than the average particle size of the active material. In the capacitor material, the electric capacity originating from the capacitor material increases as the average particle size becomes small, and since the average particle size is relatively small compared to that of the active material, even if a large quantity of the capacitor material is contained, the contact area between the active material is maintained sufficiently. Thereby, the performance as a capacitor can be imparted maintaining sufficiently the function of a lithium secondary battery.
