Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a lithium secondary battery which has high capacity and excellent charge and discharge reversibility.
CONSTITUTION: In a X-ray diffraction pattern using synthesis CuKα rays generated by reacting lithium salt with electrolytic manganese dioxide which is neutralized by NH4OH and has a BET ratio surface area of 30 to 100m2/g, lithium- manganese compound oxides wherein 2θ has a peak near 19°, 21°, 33°, 37°, 42°, 53°, or 66° and the strength ratio of the peak near 21° and the peak near 19° is 1:0.7 to 1:1.2 are used as positive electrode acive material.
