Abstract:
To provide a lithium ion battery that may reduce number of assembling parts and shorten the manufacturing process and cost by repeating bursting function at the sealing part of the battery case with securing stability and safety.
A case of the lithium ion battery is hermetically sealed by forming a caulking portion 30 of the battery case. In this arrangement, the caulking portion 30 also serves as the bursting mechanism.
