Title:
LITHIUM SOLID ELECTROLYTE BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0244643
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To construct a battery thin and provide it with excellent reversibility in charging/discharging by forming a positive electrode from a graphite compound film, which is produced by specified evaporation method using specified hydrocarbon and lithium metal complex as material.

CONSTITUTION: Lithium 4 is used to negative electrode while a solid electrolyte 3 to electrolyte. Hydrocarbon shall contain benzen. Lithium metal complex shall contain trifluoroacetylacetonate-lithium complex. Evaporation is made by chemical gaseous phase evaporation method including plasma chemical gaseous phase evaporation method. This method of producing facilitates fabrication of graphite compound film, wherein the film thickness can be adjusted any desired by means of evaporating time, temp., and martial pressure. Lithium ions are taken into the film to enable suppression of production of electrochemically irreversible compound or structural change in the positive electrode itself, which enhances the reversibility of the battery.
