Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high-purity lithium sulfide capable of producing easily a battery material such as a cathode active material, an anode active material or a solid electrolyte material for a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: There is provided lithium sulfide particle constituted of lithium sulfide. A layering crack is formed on the surface of the lithium sulfide particle, and the average particle diameter din a weight-based particle size distribution by a laser diffraction scattering type particle size distribution measurement method is 0.1 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
