To provide a compact lithium vapor discharge device excellent in safety which is suitable for instantaneously and continuously vaporizing metal lithium from a solid state, can be used at a fixed position, has excellent resistance to vibration and durability at the time of launching or flying when mounted to a rocket, and has sure lithium discharge performance.
The lithium vapor discharging device is equipped with a thermite agent 2 where magnalium alloy is added in a steel container 1, a lithium agent chamber 5 where the metal lithium 4 is loaded, an ignition device 6 for igniting the thermite agent 2, and a nozzle 7 for discharging the lithium vapor generated by a reaction heat of the thermite agent to the outside. A through-hole is provided between the lithium agent chamber and the thermite agent chamber, and the lithium vapor can be safely and continuously discharged by adjusting the injection amount of a thermite agent reaction molten liquid to the lithium agent chamber.
