Abstract:

To provide a printing method which enables reproduction of a color domain more unlimitedly approaching a color reproduction domain of "RGB", by printing in inks of five colors prepared by using orange-red ink additionally for a printing method which uses four process colors capable of making a color rendering domain (gamut) wider than that in the case of printing with Japan color standard ink conforming to the ISO standard.

In regard to a lithographic printing method using an ink selected from yellow, red, indigo blue and India ink, three colors of yellow, red and indigo blue are composed of combined lithographic inks. Herein the yellow ink contains a disazo yellow compound as a coloring constituent and the red ink contains a metal lake compound of a rhodamine dye as the coloring constituent, while the indigo blue ink contains a phthalocyanine compound as the coloring constituent. Moreover, this lithographic printing method uses an ink selected from the ink of five colors which is prepared by combining ink containing a pigment having a red-orange hue as the coloring constituent with the combined inks of four colors.
