To provide a lithographic printing method, in which an image corresponding to digital image information is scanned with laser beam to expose an original plate of a lithographic printing plate treatable in a lightroom, and a form plate is made on a printing machine placed in a lighted room in order to immediately perform printing.
The lithographic printing plate is made by exposing a lithographic printing original plate to the laser beam by scanning. The plate is formed by providing an image forming layer dispersed with fine particles in a photopolymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound so as to excite the photopolymerization initiator through multiphoton absorption and then polymerize the polymerizable compound by the photopolymerization initiator. The printing machine is driven under the state where the lithographic printing original plate is installed on the printing machine so as to remove the portion of the non-exposed image forming layer dampening water, oily ink or rubbing. Further the dampening water and the oily ink are fed in order to perform printing with the lithographic printing plate.
