Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled stabilized pharmaceutical, containing a live mumps vaccine and at least one stabilizer selected from albumin and gelatin.
CONSTITUTION: A live mumps vaccine pharmaceutical prepared by adding at least one stabilizer selected from albumin and gelatin to a live mumps vaccine. The amount of the stabilizer is 1W10%W/V for an aqueous medium and 5W20%W/W for powder. In the case of the albumin and the gelatin used together, the respective amounts thereof are 0.1W5%W/V for aqueous solution in the total amount of 1W 10%W/V, and 1W10%W/W for the powder in the total amount of 5W20%W/W. The resultant pharmaceutical is very stable not only in the aqueous medium but also in a dried solid state.
