Abstract:

PURPOSE: To find the speed distribution of a blood flow by irradiating laser light to a living body, collecting reflected scattered light, detecting a power spectrum from the reflected scattered light and giving multiple recursion treatment thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A tissue blood flow model is constituted by two microtubes 211, 212 instead of blood vessels, two polyacetal plates 213, 214 instead of stationary tissues. Polystyrene particles 215 instead of red blood corpuscles are carried in the microtubes 211, 212 by using microfeeders 216, 217. A probe 11 which is formed by combining light sending fibers 13 is put in contact with the polyacetal plate 213. The fibers 12 have contact with a laser light source 14 and the fibers 13 have contact with a photodiode 15. The photodiode 15 is connected to an amplifier 16. The particle speed in the tubes 211, 212 is changed in steps to measure a power spectrum.
