Abstract:
To provide a device and a method for saving on the power in pumping up sea water of an LNG vaporizer.
A heat exchanging panel 110 for heat exchanging LNG is dipped in a heat exchanging pool 1, the surface water flows into the heat exchanging pool (106) to exchange the heat with the LNG by the heat exchanging panel 110, and the cooled water flows from an upper part to a lower part of a heat exchanging pipe in the heat exchanging pool (107), and is discharged from the heat exchanging pool 1 by a pump 103 (composed of motor and fin).
