Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate need of securing large space on both sides of work space to which pallets are carrying in and out, and eliminate need of a large-scale conveyor moving mechanism for advancing/retracting a chain conveyor for carrying loads, and carrying empty pallets.
SOLUTION: This load carrying in/out mechanism 2 installed on a gateway at each floor is provided with a right and a left chain conveyors 3 and 4 for carrying loads and carrying empty pallets, and a pallet loading/unloading mechanism 7 to conduct loading/unloading the pallets to the respective chain conveyors 3 and 4. The chain conveyors 3 and 4 are provided on a right and a left movable frames 21L and 21R facing each other over the work space for carrying in/out pallets. The movable frames 21L and 21R are supported to be capable of swinging at an upper end. The chain conveyors 3 and 4 are capable of advancing to/retracting from the work space. The movable frames 21L and 21R are linked to a reciprocating mechanism.
