The load-carrying platform for the lengthy material includes a longitudinal member parallel to the longitudinal direction of the lengthy material, a cross direction member connecting the longitudinal member in the direction substantially right-angled to the longitudinal member, vertical members erected at both end parts of the longitudinal member or in the vicinity thereof, a hook disposed on the vertical members, a link member fitted to be rotated through a pin fitted in the vertical member, and a connecting member fitted to the free end of the link member. This lengthy material handling method uses the load-carrying platform for the lengthy material, and the lengthy material conveying system uses the load-carrying platform.
